Description:
The project consists in the construction of a multivalent educational centre, that should give hospitality to street urchins. This centre wants to guarantee a first aid, a bed and a daily meal; moreover we would like to turn some rooms into small workrooms.The Centre is made up of the following structures: 1. First aid centre formed by: • Refectory, Kitchen It will secure a daily meal to 100 children at least. Cost of the furniture, of the kitchen and all the other equipments: $ 28,420.00 • Dorm Il will be possible to put al least 70 of the most paupers children up and, in alternation, other groups of children. Cost of the furniture, of the mattresses and of the laundry: $ 25,830.00 2. Medical clinic constituted by: • Waiting room • Dispensary The medical clinic will be used to take care of the children in the house and their families, and it will be open to the whole local community. The total amount to activate it comprehends the furniture, tools of diagnosis and general medicaments: $ 7,750.00 3. Ateliers - Workrooms, constituted by: • N° 2 equipped rooms; These rooms will be destined to teach a kind of work, mainly tailoring and jobs of craftsmanship.
